BBC Studios, Fane, Andrew Kay and Adelaide Symphony Orchestra are proud to announce Blue Planet II Live in Concert for one special evening under the stars at Festival of Orchestra (FOFO) Saturday 4 December, Adelaide Showground.
Following the incredible success of the BAFTA Award-winning BBC natural history series Blue Planet II, comes Blue Planet II Live in Concert bringing the wonders and mysteries of the planet’s oceans and its characterful inhabitants to the stage. The concert will be narrated by special guest Dr Karl Kruszelnicki whose enthusiasm for science is totally infectious, no one is better equipped to be able to convey the excitement and wonder of it all as the orchestra plays live on stage.
Blue Planet II Live In Concert will present a selection of stunning visuals from the television series, highlighting the incredible natural wonders of our blue planet in detail, projected on a state-of-the-art HD LED screen. Accompanied by the original immersive music score by renowned musicians Hans Zimmer, Jacob Shea and David Fleming, which will be performed live by ASO.
